Practice Principal
Dr. Luttrell is a Tasmanian born General Practitioner, practicing in Launceston for over 30 years. While managing all areas in general practice, he specializes in asthma management and allergies, with a vast knowledge of hay fever, food allergies and eczema. Dr Luttrell can advise you on immunotherapy (desensitization) if this is an appropriate treatment for you. Outside of Tremaur Medical, Chris spends his time renovating his children’s houses and when some spare time arrives, he loves spending time fishing and 4WD.

Kim joined our team in September 2024, after moving back to Tasmania from Western Australia. She has previously worked in a local General Practice about an hour’s drive from Perth. With a few years’ experience in the medical industry and 14 years in the Real Estate industry, Kim loves being able to help those around her. There is no job too big and no task too hard, just “jump in and get it done”. Kim is helpful and approachable; you’ll often find her supporting reception and our doctors.

Joining our team in August 2024, Dr. Singh moved to Australia and settled in Launceston in 2014.
Dr. Singh was born and brought up in Nepal where she completed her medical degree in 2008 and worked for 2 years before working nearly 10 years in Launceston General Hospital. Dr. Singh has become a valued member of our team and is dedicated to her education, opting to complete her General Practice Training whilst with Tremaur Medical Centre. Whilst she has a keen interest in all areas of general practice, she is eager to pursue her interest in mental health, women’s and children’s health.
Outside her professional career, she enjoys her life in Launceston. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, baking/cooking, outdoor excursions, and shopping.
Dr. Singh works at Tremaur Medical on Monday, Tuesday and Friday and is currently taking on new patients.

Nurse Manager
Graduating as a registered nurse in 2020, Lauryn has bought with her a wealth of knowledge and experience from working in a rural hospital. As our Nurse Manager, Lauryn keeps the nursing department flowing, whilst also being our immunisation expert. When Lauryn is not dedicating her time to helping her patients, she enjoys her free time by either getting out into the wilderness camping and fishing or cosying up by the fire reading a good book. With a bubbly personality and a smile from ear to ear, Lauryn is a valued member of the team.

Grace graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2016 with a Bachelor of Nursing and went on to complete a postgraduate qualification specializing in Anesthetic and Recovery Nursing.
She has worked in Perioperative care for most of her nursing career.
Grace is now excited to bring her skills and experience into a medical practice setting, where she looks forward to building ongoing relationships with patients and their families.
Outside of work, Grace enjoys gardening, spending time at the beach and making memories with her 3 children.

Jenny joined the practice in 2023 and given this is Jenny’s first time working in General Practice, she has become a valued member of the team with having now obtained plenty of knowledge in the medical field. Jenny has the biggest smile of anyone we know. She is super friendly, positive and brings enormous amounts of good energy with her to work every day, ensuring all those around her leave with a smile on their face.

With previous experience having worked in the hearing and Speech field Jenna brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our practice.
You will find Jenna behind her desk with her bright and bubbly smile, instantly ensuring all our patients, families and staff feel welcome.
When Jenna isn’t devoting her time to her job, she enjoys sitting back with a cup of tea and reading a good book or relaxing on the beach.

Dr.Fathima is a dedicated General Practitioner with a strong foundation in hospital medicine.
Having been born and brought up in India, Dr. Fathima graduated in 2016 and practiced for a few years before moving to Australia in 2018. Dr. Fathima then spent three years working in Northwest Regional Hospital at Burnie, Tasmania gaining valuable experience across various medical specialties.
Now transitioning to general practice, Dr. Fathima is passionate about providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. While interested in all aspects of general practice, Dr. Fathima has a particular focus on women’s and children’s health.
Now part of Tremaur Medical Centre, Dr.Fathima is committed to supporting the health and well-being of the Launceston community.
Outside of Dr Fathima’s professional career, she enjoys her life in Launceston. Her hobbies include spending time with my family and friends, cooking, outdoor excursions, and reading books.

Dr. Aras joined the team in 2014 after completing her medical training in Germany before moving to Australia where she has been working as a GP for over a decade. Sandra enjoys seeing children and adults across the spectrum of General Practice.
Outside of work Sandra enjoys spending time with her family and relaxing reading a good book.
Sandra works at Tremaur Medical on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and is currently taking on new patients.
Dr. Michael SmallwoodView ProfileDr. Michael Smallwood
Dr. Smallwood graduated from Flinders University in 1995. He then trained in Darwin, Central Coast NSW, and South Gippsland in Victoria. He moved to Launceston in 2007 with his family and started training as an anaesthetist . When he is not at Tremaur Medical Centre he works as a GP anesthetist and with the Ambulance Tasmania Aeromedical Retrieval Service.
His special interest as a GP includes minor procedures, emergency medicine and complex health issues. Outside of work Michael enjoys spending time fishing, diving, bushwalking, and travelling.
Michael works at Tremaur Medical Centre on Tuesdays and is currently taking on new patients.
Dr. Philip CassidyView ProfileDr. Philip Cassidy
Dr. Cassidy has worked as a General Practitioner in the Launceston region for many years with a vast knowledge of the needs of the local community. He has a special interest in men’s health, general surgery, emergencies, and minor procedures e.g., removal of lesions. Philip is also a locum GP and travels around the state helping more isolated practices. When he is at Tremaur medical he is available for appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Dr Cassidy is currently accepting new patients.
